The Fleur de Sel Classic is a human-scale gathering, held over one day — sometimes just a morning for most vehicles.
~ Open to all enthusiasts, from exceptional cars to more popular models (a Citroën Méhari is most welcome).
~ A deliberately discreet event in the island’s summer calendar, designed to preserve participants’ comfort and ensure the safety of sometimes rare and prestigious vehicles.
~ A friendly, elegant atmosphere, always respectful of the venue.
The Spirit of the Fleur de Sel Classic
For over 10 years, the Fleur de Sel Classic has established itself as a must-see automotive event in Noirmoutier. Held at the heart of the Hôtel Fleur de Sel, this gathering brings together each summer enthusiasts of fine automobiles in a friendly, elegant and deliberately intimate atmosphere.
Free shuttle service in a 1965 VW Kombi – Round trip between Hôtel Fleur de Sel and Plage des Dames, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Reservation available on-site on the morning of the event.
NEW IN 2025
To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Citroën Traction, around thirty iconic models were brought together, including an exceptional Cabriolet edition showcased in August. The 2025 edition was a record-breaking success, with a total of 129 cars in attendance.

July 2024 marks a symbolic milestone: over 100 cars welcomed on the site.
Celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Citroën Traction and the 100th anniversary of the MG brand.

Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 911.

Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Jaguar E-Type.

First “tribute” event celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Renault 4.
2021
Despite the cancellation of many automotive gatherings, over 80 cars were welcomed, some coming from Sarthe and Morbihan.
2020
La Maison Langlois-Château becomes a partner and offers an aperitif to the participants.
2018
Implementation of themed parking: by brand, by era, or by country of origin (British cars, popular French models, etc.).
2017
The restaurant is reserved for the event, which already gathers over 60 cars in July and around 50 in August.
2016
Two editions were held, in July and August.

In just a few years, the Fleur de Sel Classic has become the largest automotive event on the island of Noirmoutier, bringing together vehicles ranging from pre-war models to the most recent ones, such as the latest Porsche 911.
A story that has been unfolding since 2014
2026
A new dimension is taking shape with the creation of a dedicated Youngtimer & 2000s parking area and the expansion of the lawn parking zone, aiming to showcase up to 150 vehicles.
On the main lawn, two flagship events will be in the spotlight: the 100th anniversary of Mercedes in July and a warm “Viva Italia” celebration in August.

Reserve your table at the restaurant L'Ételle
For those who wish, the establishment provides tables and chairs free of charge for picnicking on-site, close to the vehicles.
As part of the Fleur de Sel Classic event, the restaurant L’Ételle offers a special menu with a choice of dishes at €38 per person.
The restaurant fills up every edition, so reservations are essential.

Practical Information
No registration is required to participate with a classic, youngtimer, or prestigious car.
Vehicle arrival from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Cars can remain on display on-site until 7:00 PM.
